A family with years of experience
Motawif Taouil is a family business led by Nordine Taouil, our head guide with years of experience. Together with his two sons, Nordine forms a devoted team that guides pilgrims on their Hajj and Umrah journeys.
This close-knit family team stands side by side to support you at every step of your pilgrimage. Thanks to this family approach there is a warm atmosphere in which you quickly feel at ease and begin your journey with confidence, insha’Allah.
Where it began
Seventeen years old, two white cloths
The love for this journey began early: Nordine performed his first Umrah when he was seventeen, in the period when he was studying in the holy cities. What began as a personal journey grew into a life of guiding pilgrims — and into the family business that Motawif Taouil is today.

We are devoted to giving every pilgrim an unforgettable, spiritually rich and well-organised journey. In our role as motawif — your spiritual and practical guide — we make sure you can focus entirely on the essence of the pilgrimage. That means we take all organisational worries off your hands, from travel planning to accommodation, so you can concentrate on your prayers and spiritual growth.

Multilingual and accessible
We guide our pilgrims in Dutch, Arabic and English. Everything explained in Arabic during the journey or the rites is carefully and clearly translated into Dutch, so that no one has to miss a thing. English-speaking pilgrims feel equally welcome thanks to our multilingual guidance.
Our aim is that after your Hajj or Umrah you carry home not only beautiful memories, but also a deepened faith and the certainty that you were in good hands with us.
